For Boomit we ran a pilot focused on the US market. The prompt set covered party games, drinking games, most likely, icebreakers, house parties and alternatives to competing apps.
In the first measurement Boomit was mentioned only occasionally and its own domain, boomitparty.com, was not cited as a source.
We selected the prompts with the highest commercial value and analysed which sources appeared frequently across those topics. We then completed 47 optimisations across Boomit's owned website and external platforms.
The owned website was an important optimisation lever in this pilot. YouTube and app-store content were also picked up. Community platforms could have an impact, although they were more dependent on moderation and account authority.
The pilot also shows why we track optimised and non-optimised prompts separately. It gives us a better comparison between the targeted work and normal variation in AI responses.
AI responses change continuously. Results vary by brand, category, platform and measurement date.
